To all of White Squirrel's family and friends,
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support over the past 5 years. If you've seen us once or 69 times, we're honored to have been the background noise to your partying good times.
For five guys who just set out to have some fun and play loud rock and roll music, your response at times has been overwhelming. You've made us feel like rock stars. White Squirrel tattoos? Whoa! You want me to sign that T-shirt? Why? I was even asked to autograph a boob once. (Of course, I had to oblige. It would have been rude not to.) Throughout it all, I have a wealth of great memories. Special thanks to our families for putting up with us all along the way.
But sadly, even good things must come to an end. It's been a lot of work bringin' the Squirrel. And despite what you may think, the pay just ain't that great. Haha. Anyway, we did it all for the nookie. If by nookie, you mean fun. Then, I've had a lot of nookie. (Wait, what am I talking about?) But it's gotten harder and harder to keep up with. It's time for me to slow down. Life is too short to be this busy. I've enjoyed my time with the Green Bay Packers, but now it's time to retire.
If you haven't already, be sure to friend each of us on Facebook. I'm sure there will be more musical projects down the road for some or all of the Squirrels in some manner when the time is right. In true Brett Favre fashion, who knows what the future holds. The bookends in the photo above, Brant and Matt, are putting something together as we speak. I can't wait to support them and get bombed at the bar with you guys while they're at work onstage.
As of today, we've got 4 shows left on the schedule before we rock off into the sunset as White Squirrel. We hope that you can join us one last time. Or, four last times. Let's make these shows worth 5 years of crazy! We will not go quietly into that good night.

White Squirrel is looking for a few good beer chuggers. The beer chug contest is a long-standing tradition at White Squirrel shows. We've seen a lot of talent chug through town the past few years.
Each new show brings you an opportunity to show us what you've got. A lucky five will be chosen from the crowd at each show to participate in a beer chug-off.
To the winner, go the spoils: you'll appear on white-squirrel.com until someone knocks you off, and you may just get a prize from the band! To all participants: a free beer. You can't lose! But you've got to get out there and you've got to be chosen. Get yourself primed and in top beer chugging shape to take a shot at the title!
